da bet sport: Liverpool were the big winners as the Gunners played out a goalless draw with the Premier League holders at the Etihad Stadium
da esoccer bet: Arsenal finally ended their Etihad Stadium hoodoo as they produced a resilient display to frustrate Manchester City and earn a 0-0 draw. The result saw Mikel Arteta's side miss out on the chance to return to top spot in the Premier League following Liverpool's win over Brighton earlier in the afternoon, but the Arsenal boss will be delighted by the performance his side produced at a ground where they had failed to earn a single point since 2016.
Gabriel Magalhaes was superb as the visitors completely shut out City, who had last failed to score a goal at home in the league way back in October 2021.

David Raya (6/10):
Looked a touch nervy early on and was clearly struggling to keep his footing when clearing the ball, which led to a few miscues. Was in the right place to keep out Ake's close-range header.
Ben White (8/10):
He caused City problems on the rare occasions he got forward down the right. His good play led to two first-half chances for Jesus. A fine showing.
William Saliba (8/10):
Another player who looked a bit nervous early on, taking an extra touch when he should have moved the ball on. Improved massively after the break to shut out Haaland alongside Gabriel.
Gabriel Magalhaes (8/10):
Excellent against Haaland. Stood up to the physical battle so well. Impressive.
Jakub Kiwior (5/10):
Bernardo caused him problems whenever he ran at him, and it looked like City were targeting him. Tough afternoon for the makeshift left-back.

Jorginho (6/10):
Neat and tidy. Helped protect the back four. Did his job well, but couldn't get on the ball as much as he and Arsenal would have liked.
Declan Rice (7/10):
Really good battle in the midfield with Rodri. Showed exactly why Guardiola wanted to bring him to City.
Martin Odegaard (6/10):
Was calm under pressure and looked to press when he could. Never really able to get the ball in dangerous areas to really hurt City.

Bukayo Saka (4/10):
Just couldn't get into the game. Never really looked a threat. Put one dangerous cross in during the second half, but didn't look anywhere near 100 percent fit.
Kai Havertz (6/10):
Led the line well. Didn't see much of the ball, but when it was played up to him he caused problems with his physicality.
Gabriel Jesus (6/10):
A mixture of lively and frustrating. Clearly still some way off his best, but he was always involved and in the game. Put two efforts wide in the first half.

Thomas Partey (5/10):
Replaced Jorginho. Looked a bit sluggish at times. Doesn't look sharp yet.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (5/10):
Brought on to keep Doku quiet after his second-half introduction. Did his job well, but his passing was poor at times.
Leandro Trossard (5/10):
Produced one lovely bit of skill to lose Doku. Had one chance on the break late on, but saw his effort saved.
Gabriel Martinelli (N/A):
Never really got into the game.
Mikel Arteta (6/10):
He will be delighted with his side's resilience. His decision to risk Saka after injury didn't work, though, and he will hope he has not aggravated the problem further.
