Sheffield United didn’t play last weekend because of the winter break but loanee Callum Robinson was in action.
Since dropping back down to the Championship, he’s been in inspired form, earning an average match rating of 7.33 across only four games for West Brom.
Against Forest on Saturday, he netted his first goal for the club and also took away the Man of the Match award.
He took to Instagram after the game to share his delight as he posted an image of him posing with the trophy.
Possessing a beaming smile, it provoked a simple but comedic reaction from his teammate John Egan at Sheffield United.
The smile on Robinson’s face is something that’s been lacking on too many occasions for the Blades this season. After signing from Preston, he was a peripheral figure in the squad and had only scored one Premier League goal in nine starts and seven substitute appearances.
Last season he scored 12 in the Championship so it would have been a bit of a shock to see himself hit with a barren run in front of goal.

However, he’s showing promising signs of getting himself back on track at the Hawthorns, amassing 4.8 shots per game and performing 2.5 key passes, via WhoScored.
Whether or not he has at future in Yorkshire, though, remains to be seen.
